    future historians will love to trace.
    To the people of St James' Parish it has a special interest, as many of them can trace the dim shades of their ancestors, as they pass along in review, in the annals of Dunbrody as they are unfolded in Mr. Hore's beautiful history.
    It is little those people think who pass their lives away in the shadows of the venerable site, what great events took place in connection with the laying of its foundation by the Campile Stream over seven hundred years ago, and what a part the men who built and endowed Dunbrody with the spoils of conquest, played in shaping the destinies of our Country. From those far off days down to our own time, it is little we think that it was those great builders, the remains of whose work excite our
