  1. There are many graveyards in this Parish, namely, Rathangan, Cleariestown, Kilmannon, Killag, Duncormack.
    Most of these graveyards are surrounded by trees or walls.
    The ruins of an old Church may be seen in Killag graveyard and in a vault in the ruins of the old Church a family called "O'Neill" is buried. Their native place was Kilmacow in Co. Kilkenny but they came to live in Gibberpatrick in this parish and were very high up people. The men of the family were great horsemen.
    They were evicted from their home.
