    The stars are dim pale and weak.
    The clouds are dark and gloomy.
    When there is a rainbow in the sky in the morning it is the sign of rain.
    When the wind is in the South it is generally going to rain.
    When it is in the East there is going to be a storm, and snow.
    The East wind being brings most rain.
    The seagulls begin to call and gather together in a flock.
    The curlews begin to whistle and fly to the land.
    The animals look for shelter.
    The cat washes her face and scratches the leg of the table.
    The dog eats grass.
    The sky is of a dark colour, and the hills and mountains seem nearer.
