    was found there. Then he built a monastery and a college on the island. It is believed that he lived for about ninety-four years.
    There was a bridge going from the land to the island. There was a horseman going over the bridge to see St. Ibar when he fell over and was drowned. Some of the piles that held up the bridge are still to be seen and the island is attached to the land now - all but one little patch which is almost covered with water.
