Boxwell's field in Kerlogue; in Ballangone, Enniscorthy; and in the Bull-ring in Wexford.The greatest battle of them all took place in the mowen fields in Barony of Forth.Tanner and Davis were the two big leaders.There was a duel fight in a field in Bellmount and grass never grew on the spot. The spot is to be seen to the present day.In '98 a man by the name of Hempensal was walking in Newtown, near the THREE ROCKS, when he was killed by soldiers, who were hiding in a field near-by.
