    Act of Contrition
O Merciful God I am sorry, the bottom of my heart for these and for other sins. It grieves me that I have offended thee so I offer thee in satisfaction for all my sins of thought, word and deed, and especially those I have committed this day. The sacred merits of the beloved son, Jesus Christ. Confirm me in this good purpose to the glory of thy holy name and to the eternal salvation of my soul. Amen.
