In the Parish of Cushinstown years ago the priest was called out one night on a sick call and when he came to a certain gate on the road he saw two black hounds playing music on a barrel and the tune which they played was afterwards forbidden. The priest could not get the horse to pass for a long time and when he reached the place the person was dead.- Collector
