    The dog stopped him at Kilmallock Church & a very big black dog crossed the road. Then the sheep-dog made friends with him & let him walk on. The sheep-dog stopped him again at Castle-Ellis churchyard & again the big black dog crossed the road. His own dog made friends with him & let him walk on. Again the sheep-dog stopped him at Ballymurrn & the black-dog crossed the road.
