    There "shore-hole" Murphy.
Refers to John Murphy who in '98 hid from the yeomen who were about to set fire to Boolavogue Chapel. The Yeomen seized his wife who happened to be near the chapel and threatened to shoot her if she would not set fire to the chapel. Mrs Murphy who knew that her husband was hidden in a shore near by shouted out, "Jack, Jack, come out of your shore-hole. You're fitter to die than I am, for you were at your duty last week."
