People say there is a hidden treasure in the "Boycott" One evening Mike Ryan, James Redmond, and David Doyle went to dig for the treasure. They knew, where the treasure was by a hollow sound in the ground. They dug a hole in the ground and they killed a cock and poured his blood into the hole.
One man turned around to pick up the spade and he saw the devil in the shape of a bull and they all ran for their lives.
This happened in the year 1912.
The treasure was silver.
The "Boycott" is the name of a farm in the town-land of Carrigeen.
