    Those who worked at it had to work with shorthandled tools, all except two, who got leave to work with long-handled tools. They were Tim Kennedy and Greig Hanlon.
    After the family the people died very rapidly and many along the roads. A man named Martin Murray buried them all. When he came along the road leading from Newtownbarry he always called "Clear the road, sick patients
