- There is a wart well in Ballyknocken, Davidstown Enniscorthy, Which was used by people of olden times to cure warts. It is in a hollow rock. The people used to go to the well before sunrise + dip their wart covered hands into it, and make the Sign of the Cross.
They would then go to the side of the well and say six Pater Aves + Glorias. It was said that the warts used to disappear inside a week.- Informant
