    The Blackbird
The blackbird is a fairly big bird with black feathers and a yellow beak. It makes its nest in the bushes. It lays five eggs and they are brown and green in colour. The black-bird is a very nice singer and he sings very early in the morning. When a black-bird is going to sing he goes up in a high tree. The black-bird eats worms and snails.
    The Skylark
The skylark is a small brown bird with a black beak. It makes its nest in the grass. It lays six or seven eggs. When the Skylark is going to sing it goes up very high in the air. When she is going to her nest she alights a long way from it and hops along the ground to it. She eats flies and worms.
