- There is only one forge in the Parish. It is situated at the crossroads near the village of Lambstown.The forge has two halfdoors, an iron roof and a window and it is made of bricks and cement.The roof is slanting so that the water would not flow in.The door is in two halves an upper half and a lower half. They are both hung on with hinges.The fireplace is on a heap of bricks with clay or cement in between them to stick them together.The bellows are to blow the fire to redden the iron bars, there is a handle and it is fastened to the bellows with a nail and two pieces of leather.The implements are to work with(continues on next page)
