    The dock-root grows mostly in tillage land and is very destructive to crops. It is said that if you get a sting of a nettle and rub the leaf of a dock-root to the part that has been stung it would help to cure it. The root of it is used to cure certain diseas in horses.

    Nettles are used for various purposes. They are sometimes boiled and given to young turkeys. When cabbage is scarce some people boil them with meat and eat them.
