    St Patrick's Well
    and the people assemble here on St. Patrick's day.
    On the ancient beliefs connected with this well alone volumes may written and in days of old people from far and near resorted to it in times of trouble and distress and there sought relief from all sorts of ailments and distempers.
    Those who visited the well used to move thrice around it preceding sunways from east to west praying all the time and taking a drink if water at the end of each round. It is a never failing custom to leave some small offering on the stone covering the well. Many of these offerings such as; medals, coins, pins are yet to be seen.
