    Local Cures
    There are many people throughout the country with cures for different complaints and get the cures in different ways. There are two people Miss A. Holt and Mr. J. Gill who live near us have cure for a sore mouth They cure it by blowing on the person's mouth three times and making the Sign of The Cross for three successive days.
    Mr. J. Cully can make up a bottle which will cure paralysis and nerves.
    Mr. M. Connolly makes a drawing and healing ointment. It is very good for drawing a thorn, it would draw it from the bone.
    Mrs. Moore, Killinagh is supposed to raise a breast-bone which has been dislocated.
    To Chew a privet leaf is a cure
