  1. Shrove Tuesday falls on the day before Ash Wednesday. On that day the people make pancakes. On Ash Wednesday morning the people go to Mass and get Blessed ashes on their forehead. Some of them get blessed ashes in their prayer books and when they come home they throw it on the crops so that they might grow well.
On Good Friday at three o' Clock the people pray for anything they want and they will get it.
St Peter and Paul's day falls on the twenty ninth of June. On that night the people have a bonefire.
