    know any girl, he asks a neighbour to help him to find a wife. Then they go to some house where they think there is a suitable girl. They usually bring a bottle of Whiskey with them and they treat her father to it. They also ask her father would be he willing to let his daughter marry the man.
    If he is willing they tell him his means of living and how how many cattle, sheep, horses, pigs and fowl he has. Then they ask the girls father about how much money she has. If she has not enough of money to satisfy the man they go and try to get another girl with more money.
