- We have a farm at home, the animals we keep on the farm are cattle, sheep, pigs and horses. The cow house is generally kept the cleanest of all, because she gives us milk. In my district the cows are tied with chains that are manufactured in Ireland.
The people in my district say that if you hurt a swallow the cows will milk blood. The horse stable may not be exactly as clean as the cow house.
The horses fodder is hay and oats. in Winter the horse is clipped.- Collector
