  1. 1. On November's night the people gather into one house and they have a lot of games and sports.
    First they get a tub and fill it with water, put an apple into it and whoever gets the apple can eat it.
    2. Another game is:- get three basins, fill one with water, another with clay and place a ring in the third, then put on a blindfold on someone each turn and if they put their hand into the water on three occasions in successions they will cross the sea. If they put their hand into the clay they will be dead before November next year, and the one that puts their hand into the basin with the ring will be married the coming year.
    3. On Christmas night people leave the door open, leaves a good fire burning and it is said
