- Once there lived a family named Kenny in Castletown grove.
Their cousin died, and after some time she appeared, and told the man where he would get a box of gold, and where the key would be found.
When going into search of the gold he was to bring his mother, a spaniel dog, a game cock, a black cat, and some holy water.
When the box would be touched his mother would faint, but he was not to mind as no life was to be lost.
Just as he touched the box, his mother fainted, and he began to cry.
Then a wind arose, and they were very much afraid, and stopped the search.. So the gold is there from that day to this.- Collector
