  2. Bernard Gunning was a brave man, who shot a land-lord named Cage. This land lord was going to put all the Endrim people out of their houses and take the land for himself. On the evening that Gunning shot Cage his comrade Pat Duffy fainted and he had to carry him home. Gunning then shaved dressed himself in his best clothes and brought Cage to the barracks. Gunning was arrested tried for murder but got free.
