    the seller spits on it when he is handing it to the buyer, this is called the luck-penny. When a man is satisfied to sell a beast the buyer strikes his hands.
    Some buyers have red and blue raddle brands which they mark the cattle with others clips the hair off the hips or side of the beast with a clippers. The halter is given away with the animal sold.
    The fair before St. Patrick's Day is the greatest fair held here locally also the big fair in Banagher in September. There is no special fair held for sheeping
