    a few trees growing on the banks.
    There are some very old tomb stones in the graveyard and there are a couple of wooden crosses and one iron cross in Killowney.
    There are people buried in the ruins of the old Churches. Unbaptized children and people who have no family burying grounds are buried along close against the wall. They used to bury unbaptized people on the hill of Doon and on the Hill of Ciarán. The Egans of Lumcloon. The Doorleys of Choghan and Garry Castle bury their dead in Gillen graveyard which is in the parish of Ferbane. The
