    Each of the forges had thatched roofs. The doors were wide and in two separate parts.
    Each of them had a fireplace. The bellows are made of leather worked by a long handle up and down.
    They were not made locally. They were supplied from Dublin.
    The tools the smith uses are hammer, pinchers, knife, rasp, and clinch cutter, for shoeing horses.
    The smiths used to shoe horses, asses, and jennets, but no cattle.
