    bottles and drink half a cupful every day for three days and that will cure it.
    Chilblains
    (1) To cure chilblains get new mown first crop hay and boil it in water. Bathe the chilblains in the water and they will disappear.
    Cuts
    (1) Bog cotton is got and steeped in hot water. It is then put on the cut.
    Burns
    (1) Get a white cabbage leaf and hold it to the fire until it is hot. Then put it on the burn as hot as you can bear it, and put a white flannel cloth around it.
    Sore eyes
    (1) If you have sore eyes get marigold leaves and boil them in new milk. Then bathe your eyes with a white cloth dipped in the milk, and your sore eyes will get better.
    Sore mouth
    (1) Get rose petals and boil them in water and wash your mouth in the water.
