    (1) Clothe me, O Lord in the robe of charity that it may be my defence at the judgement seat of Christ Amen.
    (2) O Angle of God, to I whose holy care I am committed, enlighten, direct, defend, and govern me this night and through my whole life, amen.
    (3) Visit, I beseech thee, O Lord, my little habitation. Drive far from me all snares of the enemy, and send the holy angels to dwell therein to preserve me in peace through Jesus Christ Our Lord Amen.
    (4) I lie down under the protection of Jesus, Mary, and Joseph, my guardian angel and the twelve apostles, to guide, guard and protect and bring me safe over the dangers of the night. Thank God for bringing me safe over the dangers of the day. Amen.
    (5) O Lord Jesus Christ Crucified, I lay myself down to rest Bless me, O Lord, defend me and govern me and after this short and miserable pilgrimage
