It is said that the soldiers overtook him in Ballysheil nearby and cut off his head. His body walked headless for about one hundred yards, and *[his head rolled into a well] in a garden which is now owned by a man name Michael*Another version of this story says that a well spring up at the spot to which the head rolled.(continues on next page)
