One night Mr Shortts grand father was coming from town through the fields. He saw a white woman at this bush. He went home and the next day he went to where the woman was at the bush. He dug at the bush and the treasure and a flag stone beside it.
He brought home the stone and put it behind the fire. There was writing of Irish on the stone and he could not understand it.
