  1. Nearly everyone gets married before Shrove or on Shrove Tuesday. The lucky days to get married are on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays. The unlucky days are Thursdays Fridays Saturdays. May is the unluckiest month in the year. When people are getting married rice is thrown after they are married. When they are married they are not to go home for a month. On the night of the marriage they go to the bride's house and have a great dance. After the dance they go on their honeymoon to some city. A number of presents is giving to the bride and the bridegroom. Match making is not carried on now for the last twenty years.
