    but the O'Carrolls followed him but never overtook him. the O'Carrolls met a beggar man and asked him did he meet a priest the beggar man said he didn't so he took him down to the trap hole and murdered him. There is also above in Dempsey Knock a stone where the O'Carrolls shot a priest even tho it was on a sunday morning and the priest was going to say mass and the O'Carrolls told him not to begin mass till they would be there so the priest waited for a long time but the O'Carrolls did not turn up so the priest began to start mass when the O'Carrolls came on and so seen him saying mass the were so angry that the murdered the priest so there stone is there still and it is squared there is two big stones there.
