    calf. One night a man named Thomas Hoolan was coming home from Roscrea. When he was passing by Milltown a little woman dressed in white Clothes ran across the road in front of him and jumped up on the wall. When he past by the woman she kept running along the wall. When she came to Pony's Bridge she jumped over the fence and walked up Milltown avenue. In years gone by an old man named Mr. Power lived in Kylogue. One night he was coming home from playing cards. When he was passing by Pony's Bridge a big black dog as big as an ass was sitting on the wall. The dog put up his paw and saluted him.
    A long time before Mr Rawer died he used to go to bed early. Every night about eleven o'clock two big lights used come up the road. When the lights came as far as Milltown the gate opened and they went
