  1. There is a well in the parish of Clareen in a field owned by Captain Bennett. In the month of March the people come from far and near to visit this well. You have to go thee times to the well if you have any ailment or sore to be cured.
    Anyone that vists the well bring home a bottle of water from it to keep in the house. There is also a bush on the middle of the road.
    It is called St Kierans
