“A long time ago, there was a wake in Drana...”
A long time ago, there was a wake in Drana, the man that was dead was a queer old fellow. All from the parish went to the wake; alot of them were saying that he would do no more queer things. Begor all of a sudden he jumped into a tar-can, where there were some wine and whiskey. He remained drinking in the tar-can for ten minutes, then he got out, and pulled the tar-can to the door, got into it again, and started off for Glynn. Two men were going to the wake; they heard something coming, it was the tar-can. The two men got a fright, they thought it was the devil. Neither one or the other stayed out at night time after that.- Collector
