“Long ago when a marriage would take place...”
Long ago when a marriage would take place, the guests would ride on horse back to the Bride's house for the breakfast. A man and a woman would ride on each horse, and whatever couple would reach the Bride's house first, would get a present. That would be very uncommon nowadays. Now the married couple and guests go in motors to a hotel for the breakfast.- Collector
