    he heard the door being banged open and in walks a big cross-looking man. He looked at the poor man and in a loud voice said, "What are you doing here." The man told him and the big man said, "Dont you know this is my house," and the man said he did. Well says he I'll give you until to-morrow night to get out of this. Next morning the woman came back as usual and asked him did he hear or see anything. He told her all that he saw and she asked him would he stay that night and he said, " A begob I wont". She pressed him but he would not. She went to the nearest shop and bought some whiskey. She came back and gave him a sup and he said he'd stay. That night the door opened again and in rolled a block and an axe and the man twice as cross-looking. He asked him again what was he doing
