- The games I play are, Tig, Hide and go seek, Scout, Jail, Football, Hurling, Four corner fool and Blind booby."Tig" is played by nine or ten children. This ryhme is said first and whoever tig falls on has to follow the others until he catches one of them: P i g pig you have the old Irish tig.Hide and go seek" is also played by nine or ten children. One of the children has to follow the others. There is a ring drawn which is the den, and the bog who is following has to stand there with eyes shut while the others hide. When they shout he follows them to catch them before they get into the den. Whoever he catches has to follow the others then.There are four or five boys supposed to soldiers when playing jail. Some of the other boys do some harm and the soldiers have them. They bring them to a house which is supposed to be jail and hold them till they break away.Four corner fool is played by five boys in a house with four corners. One of the boys stand on the middle of the floor supposed to be the floor fool. The others four go to the corners and they have to change from one corner to antoher and the fool tries to get into one of them. If he does one of the boys has to be the fool.Blind booby is played in a large room(continues on next page)
