- The well is near coach road Bagenalstown to Kiltealy, through Scallop gap. A place coming much to public notice for scenery. May leave some association with white mountains as part of Black Stairs Range is called white mountain.The well was re-opened about 60 years ago for ages before then twas just a mere grass grown spring.
