- There were two women in Rathanna, and they went to their friends house, to visit. It was dark when they were coming home, and there was a withered bush in the ditch at the bridge. One of them said to the other, We will bring this bush with us, to light the fire, in the morning.
One was dragging the bush after her. When the came a short distance, a horse appeared over them in the sky, and caught the bush in his mouth and took it away and when they went back the next day, the bush was where they got it.- Collector
