    The remains of the castle is still to be seen from Carlow town the castle can be seen plainly and to the present day people come from parts of Ireland to explore the castle I saw the castle myself not long ago and I think it is a beautiful relic of ancient days.

    Stopping Blood. In Kilquiggan there lives an old man, named James Neill, formerly a black-smith but now blind. He has a prayer which is said to be most effective in stopping bleeding from the head, or the lungs. This prayer also is a secret.
