- The Local Fairs or Tullow are held on the Fair Green which is on the border of the Town of Tullow. There is no money to be paid to get into the Fair. When Farmers sell a cow they give the buyer money which is called luck. When a cow is sold they cut a bit of hair off her side or they mark her with a raddle.
When an Animal is sold they do not give the Halter. The biggest fair of the year is at the beginning of May. The fairs are not held at a Historical place in the town of Tullow.- Collector
