  1. Some thirty years ago there was a wool factory situated near the residence of Mr Harris. It was the property of Mr John Hoare of Ballykillane. He had two men employed - Mr Kelly and Mr Neill, both of Mill Lane. He made every sort of woollens and he spun thread; he carried on this trade for years. He gave it up owing to feebleness and age. The remains of the factory are still to be seen. One of the men who worked in it is alive still - Mr Kelly.
