- Story
One very hot day in the month of July in the year 1899 there came a great thunder storm. At about two o'clock in the day there was a great noise hear, and about ten minutes later the hill of Mount Leinster was covered with water nearly eight feet high. All the sheep and cattle that were grazing on the hill were drowned by this terrific storm. - A great mower
Long ago there lived a man named Matthew Kavanagh in Bealalaw, in the parish of Myshall. He was a very strong man and was able to mow an Irish acre in one day.
