    "coffin stone". Sometimes if people died on the roads the other people would erect a cross in memory of them. There is one before you go to Bray. where a girl was killed off a horse. There is another up in Co. Wicklow. where Mr. Kennedy was thrown off a bread car. There are no marks or hollows on stones in this district only on mile stones. There is a little bank of clay over on the commons where George Harmon, lives and the people call it a "kearne" but the people dont know of any one being buried there. There is also other rocks out on the "middle hill" called the "crap rocks" and the castle rock shaped like a castle. There are no tradition ever known about these stones.
