    Finlay remarked that it was a pity to see such a fine heap of sand and clay there in such a marshy place, without making use of it - that it would be better to level out the heap over the bog. He began the work, but got only two loads out.
    When the men came back, having put the two loads away, he would not let them go on with the work. He hopped home, lame, and was lame ever after.
