    into the kettle. She took off the kettle and put the water back in the bucket, and she saw two tiny fish in the water.
    They took back the water and the fish and put it in the well, and they never took any water out of the well aftre that. And anyone who took water out of Tobar Christamaun could not boil it.

    A Well
    There is a well, on the side of the road near where the present Mr Geoghegan, of Talbotstown lives. The well was noted for cures of sores.
    Once, there were travellers passing, and they thought that along that road was a good place to camp for a couple of nights, so they stopped there. Before they left, one woman washed clothes in the well, and the well went dry. There never was a drop of water in it after.
