    12. Felons:-
    (a) A herb, called Rue, chopped up and put on the finger cures a "felon".
    (b) Rue and felon-grass.
    (c) Felon-grass, rue, and oat-meal porridge made into a poultice and pt to the felon.
    (d) Felon ointment, made from felon-grass, marsh-mallows and other herbs.
    13. Whittleos:_
    (a) Dip in boiling potato water three times.
    (b) Wash well with boiling water, and poultice with white turnip.
    (A felon is a swelling on the top of the finger. The finger is never the same, even when the felon is cured. The bone is affected. A whittleo is a swelling around the nail (cuticle)
    14. Kidney Trouble:-
    (a) Boil fraughen bushes
