    Food in olden times.
The local saying was a goose at Christmas and an egg at Easter. This saying is held up to the present time.
Tea was first used about fifty years ago.
Before that people used to strain the water off the leaves and served their leaves with milk and a knife and fork to eat them.
The old vessels were wooden goblets.
