  1. Treasure In The Old Chapels
    There is supposed to be a treasure hidden in a place called the Old Chapels.
    Once there was a famous robber named Balfe. This robber hid a barrel of gold, which was worth about £500 in the 17th century when it was hidden.
    There were never any attempts made to unearth this valuable treasure.
    The fairies are supposed to guard this treasure.
    The Wicklow Man And The Crock Of Gold
    Once there was a Wicklow man who lived on the Wicklow-Kildare border. He dreamt one night that if he went to London Bridge he would find it (gold). He saved up until he was able to buy a suit of clot(c)hes and his fare to London. When he reached London he (was) walking about for three. days and he was about to go home when a man in an Inn near-by who had dreamt of this. Wicklow man and his dreams met him and told him that in
